The Fen Rivers Academy has successfully, for the second year in a row, completed a comprehensive online safety training programme demonstrating its commitment to keeping children and young people safe online.
The Fen Rivers Academy has received a National Online Safety Certified School Accreditation for its whole school community approach to protecting children in the online world.
National Online Safety is a multi-award winning digital training provider with extensive resources in online safety, developed in line with the Department of Education’s statutory requirements.
Amanda Fewkes, Headteacher, says “I’m incredibly pleased that we have been awarded the National Online Safety award 2 years in a row. Our community is committed to protecting and educating pupils on their safe use of the internet and technology. For this commitment to be recognised is a real credit to our hardworking staff and students, of whom I’m very proud.”
