Home Learning

Welcome to the Fen Rivers Academy Home Learning page. If the building ever has to close, the learning continues and we want you to know that we are very proud of the way in which everyone has worked together to keep each other safe during these uncertain times.

You will find below work set for your child's class, suggestions for active learning that everyone can join in with and links to a number of websites and video clips to support the children. Online safety is paramount and it is worth checking that parental controls are in place on devices especially if children are using them out of sight. Please get in touch if you need support with activating these.

A routine and timetable might be helpful in settling children and making this time more predictable. It is important not to overload them and to focus on mental health and wellbeing rather than simply quantity of work. We will be in touch every day to support you and your child and can help with any queries or concerns at this time. We look forward to seeing everyone safely back in school very soon.

Many of our young people start their day with Sensory Circuits and i have included some suggestions below. Above all, have fun and enjoy learning together and stay safe.
